Being at the Valbona Valley, surrounded by steep mountain peaks that reach up high in the sky, in that moment it gives you a understanding of how tiny we are compared to those wise mountains!
With the 25th of August we headed to Valbona National Park. We went from the village of Rragam, through the Valbona Valley and up into the Valbona Pass that leads you to the pictoresque village of Theth. We arrived a bit late around 11:30 am and started our hike with a big group of hikers at 12:00 pm, our main and fantastic guide was Ismet Borovci.

I am deeply in love with the Accursed Mountains, and when I'm here I find it very hard to part ways with these wonderful mountains. The people were also mesmerized from the amazing views of Valbona Valley, everyone kept taking pictures, laughing and talking to each other.

Not to mention, the weather was wonderful, it wasn't hot but either it was cold, perfect conditions to hike. We made a break and waited for the group to gather and as a result we continued our way to Simoni Coffee that was high up near the Valbona Pass. If you want to hike up to Valbona Pass you have to choose the trail that leads you to Theth, this trail is one of the best trails that I have hiked till now.

It didn't last long and everyone arrived at Simoni's Coffee, the majority of them were first timers so they were amazed to see someone selling coffee and beers in the wilderness. They were very curious and kept asking him "How do you manage to get all these drinks up here?" his response "My horse". Thus, people kept eating and drinking there till we were ready to kick off to the pass.
From time to time, some people kept staying behind but all managed to get to Valbona Pass, moreover we reached the peak that was near the pass and stayed there for about 40 minutes. We had the chance to make great pictures of those enormous peaks. Under those circumstances we had to return back to Prishtina and so we headed back to Valbona Valley, and everyone was loaded with joy and went back with a happy smile. And so.
After this what will the next adventure be?
Which mountain will I be visiting next?
