The Peaks of the Balkans: top destination for foreign and local adventure lovers.

  The Peaks of the Balkans is a hiking trail that covers three countries, Kosovo, Montenegro and Albania. This trail attracs many tourists that are in love with hiking and want to see new places, meet new people and see different cultures. Not only that they seek the beautiful sceneries but also get to know the culture of the people that live in these majestic mountains. Undoubtedly, staying in nature is a wonderful thing, however if you would have to stay for 8 days, without a doubt, that's when the magic kicks in. We were for 8 days in the most beautiful parts of the accursed mountains together with people who later not only became friends with us but also we created a bond that we would never forget. The mountain pass of Brekije - Mustafe Village, Albania

  Last weekend, we had a wonderful adventure to the villages of Brekije, Tershene and Mustafaj. We had an amazing weather and some amazing views. Brekije is a village located deep in the mountains of the national park Korab - Koretnik in Kukes, Albania. This village has some amazing views and you can reach this village with 4x4 vehicles or with Furgona as the locals describe them. From the village to the pass the hike is around 500m elevation gain and is very suitable even for the biginners, and the descend to other two villages is around 1250m, the trail leads you to some hidden villages that lie in the foot of the mountain of Gjallica. Albania has so many mountains worth visiting, furthermore the passes that Albania posseses are one of the most beautiful passes of this region.
