The Peaks of the Balkans: top destination for foreign and local adventure lovers.

  The Peaks of the Balkans is a hiking trail that covers three countries, Kosovo, Montenegro and Albania. This trail attracs many tourists that are in love with hiking and want to see new places, meet new people and see different cultures. Not only that they seek the beautiful sceneries but also get to know the culture of the people that live in these majestic mountains. Undoubtedly, staying in nature is a wonderful thing, however if you would have to stay for 8 days, without a doubt, that's when the magic kicks in. We were for 8 days in the most beautiful parts of the accursed mountains together with people who later not only became friends with us but also we created a bond that we would never forget. Outdoor Kosova organized a training for future guides in the peaks of the balkans, our intructors were amazing and had professional attributes, they always kept teaching us new things. Fantastic hike to Black Rock 2,536 m of Brezovica for Kosova's 11th independence jubilee.

Happy hikers celebrating Kosova's 11th Independence anniversary. It was truly a super Sunday morning here in Prishtina. We as usually wanted to go hiking. We wanted to go to Brezovica and from there to hike up the Black Rock peak which the altitude reaches of 2,536 M high. What's more special about this Sunday morning, it was the 17th of February which means it's the 11th anniversary of Kosova's independence. With this purpose in mind, together with Hiking Njeri we kicked of from Sunny Hill (Bregu i Diellit) from 7 am in the morning and started our great adventure. Piribreg peak right in the distance.  After a long way, going through Ferizaj and stopping at Eli-Ab supermarket, we finally headed for the village called Sterpce and eventually arrived at Brezovica around 9 am. The winter beauty of Dramodol summit in the wonderful Rugova Mountains.

Summit of Dramodol 2,155 M It is the 10th February, a beautiful Sunday morning, what's the best thing in the morning when you have to get up and you know that you are going to spend e fantastic day in the mountains with Hiking Njeri. It has been a long time since we went together with Ben Njeri to hiking adventures, so he decided to kick off the hiking season of 2019 for Hiking Njeri and Kosova Hiking Trips with huge positive energy and plenty of amazing nature lovers. We were heading for a village that is located in Rugova mountains called Koshutan but firstly we stopped to buy water and food for our adventure furthermore Arbnor was waiting for us at the supermarket ETC. After we left the city and entered the Rugova gorge that was the moment when the amazing views started to show in front of us and that was just the beginning. An unexpected journey from Valbona valley to Theth, in the Albanian Alps.

It was the 27th of June of 2018, a rainy day, I was staying at my apartment and suddenly I received a message on Facebook and I opened it and it was Rinor. "Do you want to come with me on an adventure?" said Rinor. "Where and when?" I replied. "Tomorrow we go hiking from Valbona to Theth ." said Rinor.  I was for a second shocked I didn't know what to say and I said, "of course man". I asked him how do we want to get there because it was obvious that neither of us hadn't cars. We decided to go and suddenly two more wanted to come with us. It was Berna with Ilir which they were eagerly waiting for that. And so it began the unknown adventure. The next day I met Rinor at the Cathedral of Mother Theresa and headed for the bus station were we had to meet with Berna and Ilir. It was a rainy cold morning and a bit foggy.
