It was the 30th of March, an amazing Saturday. As usually we wanted to hike however we even wanted to visit the beautiful city of Rahovec. This kind of event wasn't held since the year of 2017 that Hiking Njeri held it, this time we wanted to make it even greater.
We started from Prishtina, it was just before 9 am and we were staying at our meet point and waited till every one was gathered in order to head to Rahovec. We gathered and started our adventure, with a bunch of people and during the way we stopped to buy some food and drinks. Later on, we arrived at the heart of Rahovec and there were waiting at least 50 people from the city in order to join our event. So we squeezed them all in our two buses that during that time were already full, but it was so much fun.
First of all, our main focus was to start the hike and reach the summit of Zatriq, we had a local guide from Rahovec, which he showed us the way. We plunged out from the buses and made a great group picture and headed for the peak. The mountain was very beautiful, it was sunny but a bit windy, it was 11:40 am and we started to hike, it was a rocky trail covered sometimes with huge rocks and small ones. I was in the end of the group together with Engjell and Abetare and we were walking slowly, and I saw that the group was deviding in two parts one was leading in the right side of the mountain and the other one was going the left side, so I went to Beni and said that I'm following the group that is heading the right side. Thus, in the end we met at the ridge and continued to head forward to the summit. From up there you could see the city of Rahovec even the Sharr Mountains. It was a very good hike considering the majority were beginers and they maneged to get to the top, after we arrived at the summit of zatriq, we stayed there ate and drank and took many pictures and one official group picture.
Secondly, sometimes nothing happens according to plan because the universe doesn't want so. The plan was that after we summit the top, we had to descend till the main road and there the buses would be waiting for us but the road was to steep for the buses so we had to walk down the asphalt road, it was very hard for us because it was very hot that day and the road made it even worse. But that couldn't stop us either everyone was able to get down, we had great fun, there at the village there was a little shop and we bought Ice Cream, and cooled us down a bit.

Thirdly, we get on the buses and headed back near the city were we stopped there and started to walk through the city and we visited Sahat Kulla. This monument was build in the year of 1791 and named after the name of "Mahmut Pashe Rrotulla", this monument was re-constructed in the year of 2010 with the help of CHWB - Cultural Heritage without Borders however till this day it was not functioning either. According to some locals of the city, the legend says that this Sahat Kulla was a gift from the Austrian Empire. Following that, we went to a Teqe that was build 400 years ago. A "Teqe" means a place to pray to their god in the Bektashian religion. Unfortunately, we couldn't get in and see what is inside because they couln't or didn't want us to stay there, the superviser of this Teqe didn't want to respond to our questions or he wasn't prepared for them, anyway we had fun and continued making a tour through the city.
Finally, we arrived at the restaurant Tosca, this was the last part of our event. Rahovec is known for it's beverage drinks like Wine and Raki, and food as well. We had plenty of food to eat and plenty of alcohol to drink. Later on, there was a band that performed for us, people kept dancing and drinking, and we had a fantastic time there. After a long day of hiking and visiting different parts of the city we parted our ways with Rahovec and said goodbye for now and see you in the next year. This was a great experience to have because you meet new people and see different places and the best thing is that you have fun by doing it.
